Susie Jennings and slum children from NairobiOperation Care – Africa: “Feeding the 5,000” was an awesome victory for the Lord. God worked miraculously in so many ways right in front of our very eyes. He showed us: The POWER OF PRAYER, His protection, His provisions, and His healing power. We’ve lots of stories to tell: stories that will break your hearts… stories that will change your outlook in life … stories that will totally revolutionize and transform your whole being! We are now better people; we are NO longer THE SAME!!!

Our team of 8 young women (brave warriors for the Lord), left Dallas for Nairobi, Kenya on June 24th to serve 5,000 pre-registered children (homeless, refugees, slum kids, orphans, and AIDS children) who live in the biggest slum of the world – the Kibera. The theme was: “Feeding the 5,000,” so we prepared only 5,000 sets of gift items (T-shirts, salvation bracelets, socks, shoes, backpacks, personal care products, eyeglasses, fruit drinks and bread) to give to 5,000 children. As the kids arrived we gathered them in the field and presented the greatest GIFT of all – JESUS!
